The Cybex Pallas M-fix SL is a multi-group car seat installed via Isofix and approved for use with children from 9kg up to 36kg. That's around birth to age 12, and Cybex says this seat should last for 11 years' use. It uses an impact shield, rather than a harness, to secure your child into the seat. We've crash tested this car seat with and without using Isofix.
One of the standout features of the Cybex Pallas M-fix is its washable cover. This makes it easy to clean and maintain, ensuring that the seat remains hygienic and in good condition. In terms of dimensions, the seat has a width of 540 millimeters, a depth of 454 millimeters, and a height of 700 millimeters. It weighs approximately 9300 grams

This is not mandatory however, and you can continue to use the Pallas car seat with the impact shield until your child reaches 18 kg in weight.
